Congratulations to our partner, Wangdicholing General Hospital, on their successful health camp which provided medical services to the 22 monks of Yoesel Choling Monastery in Bumthang. One of the oldest in Bumthang, the monastery hosts 22 monks all below the age of fifteen.

Due to difficulties traveling from the remote monastery, doctors from Wangdicholing General Hospital gathered together and made the trek to them. They hosted a screening camp where the local monks had access to general health screenings as well as eye services, physiotherapy, ultrasonography, traditional medicine, therapy, and dental services. After the screening, most of them were in good health, while a few suffered from gallstones, ectopic kidneys, and fatty liver issues.
