We just completed the first part of a three-day virtual training in collaboration with Phensem Parents Support Group, Bhutan, Early Learning Centre Thimphu, and Perkins School for the Blind themed “Meaningful Education for All”. The workshop focuses on Person-Centered Planning. This process works to map the lives of children with the help of their parents, documenting their history, relationships, experiences, and strengths, so as to get an overview of the child’s life experiences after which we can start planning for the child’s future.

The training will help the teachers work with the parents to identify proper goals for a positive outcome and learning experience in school
