This June 2nd, roughly 98 students from Wangduechhoeling Lower Secondary gathered on the grounds at the historic Wangduechhoeling Palace to plant and adopt saplings. This event, in honor of the Coronation Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo and Social Forestry Day in Bhutan, is part of an initiative to involve local communities in the major renovations currently underway at the palace under the Bhutan Foundation and Department of Culture.
