Celebrations in Bhutan kicked off this morning by announcing the winners from the children’s Art and Storytelling Contest! This year’s impressive winners in each of the three categories include Phuntsho Namgyel, Grade Two; Sonam Phuntsho, Grade Four; and Pema Longdrel, Grade Six. Their hard work will be brought together and printed in educational materials for students across Bhutan on tiger conservation.

This exciting contest, hosted by the Global Tiger Centre, Bhutan (GTC) will help students educate each other about the importance of preserving their local environment and the many different species affected by the tiger across Bhutan.
