Help us train our Bhutanese teachers by providing resources and tools to help children with disabilities learn!
This Tuesday – November 29 – we celebrate this global day of giving, #GivingTuesday, by giving children with disabilities a chance to learn by supporting their teachers. The Bhutan Foundation continues to work with the Ministry of Education, Royal Government of Bhutan to improve education for children with disabilities. In collaboration with the Ministry, we have identified fourteen public schools throughout the country to provide access to education for children with disabilities. As the program continues to grow for Bhutan with more children identified and increased awareness, more challenges lay ahead to address the children’s needs.
With lack of resources and funding for public schools especially to improve the capacity of teachers, the Bhutan Foundation is seeking your support this #GivingTuesday. With the growing number of students with disabilities in all the public schools, more support and training is needed for teachers in these schools.
Every dollar you donate today will go toward our Special Education Program; help us reach our goal of $5,000! Please help us support children with disabilities in Bhutan TODAY on #GivingTuesday!
