With the country in lockdown, virtual training continues for local CSOs.
This January, our team supported a four-day virtual QuickBooks training for 11 participants from different CSOs in Bhutan. The workshop brought together new users and experienced users looking to refresh their knowledge of the software.
QuickBooks accounting software is popular amongst nonprofit and small business organizations due to its capacity to generate specific project and program reports, which are beneficial in our communication and reporting process for each project. The training reviewed the usage of user-friendly interfaces and features for nonprofit organizations.
Previously, the Foundation supported a two-day workshop on QuickBooks in 2019. The team has also carried out an introductory session on QuickBooks in collaboration with the UN House and the Australian Himalayan Foundation. We have supported QuickBooks licenses to over 15 CSOs and have helped set up the systems with each organization.
