When we first started our partnership with Mr. Penjor Dorji and his enterprise, Green Pigment Arts (Natural Pigment Colour Production), back in 2017, we knew his efforts to revitalize traditional Bhutanese paints and dyes in his artwork would go far, and this June it went all the way to China!

Recently, Penjor travelled to Kunming, China to participate in the 26th China Kunming Import and Export Fair by showcasing his artwork painted with natural pigments. The young entrepreneur’s paints, made from ingredients including barks, leaves, and plants, were on display throughout the event bringing Bhutanese art to an international audience.

We’re always excited to see our partners succeed and hope to see his work continue to grow and influence the art world across the globe.
