July 29, 2018
To celebrate International Tiger Day on 29th July, the Bhutan Foundation in collaboration with the National Tiger Centre is happy to share a documentary on first collared tiger of Bhutan. It was the first time a tiger has been radio-collared by a team of Bhutanese biologists and foresters in February 2018.
The tiger being an apex predator, their survival ensures many species to live and flourish in its large shared habitat. However, many threats to these magnificent cats still exist. We can collaboratively do more to conserve and ensure their survival in their habitats. The Bhutan Foundation supports projects that protect tigers in Bhutan. Help us conserve our tigers by supporting our tiger conservation program.
